Mt. Madonna Challenge Scholarship

The Max King Trail Running Camp offers a unique week for kids to cultivate their love for the outdoors and running. Through camaraderie, stewardship activities, adventures, trail skills, and self-reflection, we aim to nurture a lifelong passion for the sport. The Max King Trail Running Camp will be in Sisters, Oregon, and will run from June 22 - June 28 in 2025

We encourage all local cross-country/track and field kids from the surrounding areas (Gilroy, Watsonville, Salinas, Morgan Hill, Hollister, and San José) to apply

2022 MKTRC

Our first year participating in the Max King Trail Running Camp took place on June 2022 in Mt. Shasta, California. Four local cross country kids from Christopher High School and Gilroy High School spent a week sleeping under the stars, running up and down mountains, swimming in lakes, orienteering, team building, volunteering, getting tips from professional athletes/mentors, and eating delicious food!
